NEXA Market Sentiment Intelligence Multi-source market view

See what different parts of the market are saying.

Compare technical consensus, retail positioning and slower institutional context without pretending they are the same signal. NEXA keeps each layer separate so you can see agreement, disagreement and crowding more clearly.

Layer 1

Technical

Indicator consensus across multiple timeframes. Useful for momentum and trend context.

Layer 2

Retail positioning

Long-versus-short positioning from independent retail trading populations.

Layer 3

Institutional

Slower futures positioning from official CFTC reports for broader market context.

Layer 4

Macro

Rate expectations and gold-flow context that can shape USD and XAU conditions.

How to read this page

Agreement is interesting. Disagreement is information too.

A heavily long retail crowd does not automatically mean price should rise, and a technical “buy” reading is not the same thing as actual trader positioning. Compare the layers rather than treating one percentage as a trade command.

Technical consensus

Multi-timeframe technical mood

Switch between gold and major FX pairs, then compare short-term and higher-timeframe indicator consensus.

Auto-updating

Technical Analysis powered by TradingView. The gauge uses a softened graphite-green treatment so it stays readable without a stark white or black panel.

Myfxbook Community Outlook now uses the same red/green bar palette as Dukascopy and a native working symbol search.

Retail positioning · official widget

Dukascopy SWFX Sentiment

NEXA attempts to load Dukascopy’s official Historical Sentiment widget directly. If the third-party renderer does not load in-browser, the official Dukascopy sentiment view remains one click away.

Institutional & macro context

Slower signals worth checking before the trade

These sources move more slowly than intraday sentiment, but they help explain the broader positioning and policy backdrop. NEXA links to the official source rather than scraping or republishing restricted data.

Institutional positioningWeekly

CFTC Commitments of Traders

Official U.S. futures-positioning reports. Useful for understanding how major futures participant groups are positioned in gold, currencies and other markets.

CME FedWatch

A macro lens on expected Federal Reserve policy paths. Rate expectations can materially affect USD and gold conditions, but they are not a directional trading instruction.

Gold demand contextWeekly / monthly

World Gold Council Goldhub

Gold ETF holdings and flows provide a slower institutional-demand lens that complements short-term retail and technical sentiment.

NEXA methodology

Why there is no fake “one-number” score

The sources above measure different populations and different time horizons. NEXA therefore does not simply average them into a bullish or bearish percentage. If a composite is introduced later, it will be explicitly labelled, source-weighted and documented so duplicated feeds cannot accidentally receive multiple votes.
